Are you just plain fed up with trying one face moisturizer after another in hopes to find one that actually works like you want it to? I know how you feel – I’ve tried dozens of face moisturizers and none of them worked as expected. That was until I did my research and came up with a set of guidelines to follow if you want to find the best face moisturizer.

First off, I decided to abandon the traditional idea of face moisturizer products. I am in my mid 30s and I have noticed that my skin is not as youthful as it use to be. I even found out that after you turn 25 years old, your body starts to loose about 1.5% of it’s collagen protein each and every year. If you didn’t know already, collagen is the protein in our skin that keep out skin firm and youthful.

So I decided to invest in skin care products that fought aging signs as well as moisturize my skin. This way, I could get the best of both worlds.

Next, I went and researched which natural face moisturizers are best for the skin. I chose to go with all-natural products to avoid using any harmful toxins or chemicals on my skin.

Here are some of the best face moisturizer ingredients I found:

  • Capuacu butter- protects against the sun and helps heal burns
  • Vitamin B5- also protects against sunburn and helps repair skin tissue
  • Jojoba Oil- Makes the skin feel soft and velvet like
  • Shea Butter- soothes inflamed skin and reduces scars, blemishes, brown spots, and even wrinkle
  • Aloe Vera- good for the skin because it’s pH is almost identical to that of skin

So going forward, I wanted to find a line of skin care products that combated aging signs AND included some, if not all of these natural face moisturizer ingredients.

But I also found out that there are many ingredients that complement face moisturizer ingredients help and provide much better results. For example, we loose natural oils throughout the day through our pores, so it’s important to replenish these oils. Using skin care products that contain essential oils that are similar and compatible with your natural oils like avocado oil and macadamia oil work in synergy with your skin.

I also discovered that the biggest culprit that causes aging skin is free radicals. And the best way to get rid of these free radicals is by using skin care products containing antioxidants. The best antioxidant you can include in a skin care product is CoenzymeQ10, but others like natural vitamin E and manuka honey are also helpful.
